Latica Lodge is quaint, but don’t expect magic. my room was never cleaned during my stay—maybe they think sand adds charm? also, for a so-called 'king room', having a bathroom just a curtain away is so, well, intimate? i almost wrote a rave review but couldn’t after realizing no one welcomed me with the complimentary fruit basket i deserved.

Had an amazing time at Latica Lodge! The grounds are gorgeous, and I loved using the guest kitchen and friendly fire pit for evening cookouts. The nearby Playa Negra beach became my favorite spot. A few hiccups with room cleaning, but overall a great experience!

We had an amazing adventure trying trapeze near a stunning beach! The kids loved the circus retreat with a fun show and delicious BBQ. The atmosphere was lively, and hosting a live Cuban band was a perfect touch for our family stay with a baby.

For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities.
